Rotarians from around the world will be in Melbourne
Five days (May 22-26, 2023), before the Melbourne Convention the ITFR – International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians will promote its 17th World Championships.
The organization, run by the Rotary Club of Melbourne, has booked six courts at one of the world's most important tennis complexes, Melbourne Park, the same venue where the Rotary International Convention will take place.
It is a unique opportunity to play tennis on the same courts as the Australian Open, where Rod Laver lends his name to the Convention's home arena.

The championship, which aims to promote companionship among tennis aficionados, also aims to obtain donations for polio eradication.
The ITFR, throughout its existence, has contributed just over USD 400,000 tothe Polio Fund. In April of this year the 8th American South held in Cascavel, contributed almost USD 5,000.
Next November, between the 8th and 12th the city of Salvador will receive the 10th Brazilian ITFR.
