Once again greetings in His mighty name.

Please know that the classes are temporarily conducted in the church just in the next campus. As Government ordered to have classes for only 50% of the students, students come in turn every day.

Refer the attached pictures.

Work is progressing well and will be finished within 20 days from now.

Students will have new classrooms from January 2022.

Let me update the progress.

Thanks once again.

Warmly

Greetings to you in the loving name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from the Arcot Lutheran Church Tamil Nadu, India.

Thank you for your below email and bear with me for the belated response.  The funds INR 302086/- received from you has been acknowledged through email on 30th September 2021 itself.  Kindly refer to the same.  That mail has been forwarded again to you by Mr. G. Sundar recently.

Regarding the work progress, I would like to state the progress of present work at Suviseshapuram is not up to our expectations due to various factors. 90 per cent of the work was well finished and periodical reports with photographs were sent to you.  Extra work at the back side has been initiated by constructing five columns with the local funding  as it was not included in our but find it essential for future extension of the building.  Painting and Electric wiring are pending and windows and flooring are the felt and need-based extra work.

These works would have finished by March 21 itself but due to severe attack of the covid-19 II wave, latest foreign contribution banking regulations act enforced by the government of India are the main hurdles that interrupted the progress of the work.   At one point we even advised you not to initiate fund transfer because we were asked to open a new account in the designated bank in New Delhi which was time-consuming and further delayed the process.

After completing all the formalities, We were able to receive the fund only in late September 2021 in the designated bank account and further there was a delay to receive the cheque book from the Delhi bank and we are able to operate our bank account only from the second week in the month of October 2021. While we initiated the work the heavy rain and cyclone started due to the monsoon and disturbed the progress of our work. However, we try our best to complete the work as soon as possible when the weather becomes normal.

Kindly refer to the photos for the present status and compare them with the earlier ones and the flood in our river which is normally dry or with small tiny streams.

Thank you for your kind understanding.  Looking forward to your continued support and association for the benefit of the poor children in our schools.

With wishes and regards

Yours sincerely
