Camp rules:
We expect the participants to understand and accept the principles in Rotary for yeoth exchange. The social aspect is very important for the participants and there fore intoxication is not tolerated.
Location:
You spend the first week together at the military base in Holstebro. At the mid weekend you go canoeing and stay overnight in tents. In the second week you will live in private homes with rotarian families.
Program:
The final program will be published on the camp homepage www.campholstebro.dk, as soon as the planning is finished.
At the camp we offer you:
- Opportunity to socialise and exchange cultural understanding
- Opportunity to visit local attractions and places of cultural interest.
- Visit at local farms and firms with focus on sustainability
- Enjoy the fabulous nature and beaches around Holstebro
You should bring:
Practical clothes, shoes and a bag suitable for canoeing and outdoor activities
Costs:
The camp fee is 130€ and must be payed in cash at arrival. Pocket money for personal use and to cover the travel expenses to/from the camp in Holstebro. Travel insurance to cover against illness, accidents and third part damages.
Arrival and departure:
We expect you to arrive in Holstebro during Saturday 3. August. We expect you to depart from Holstebro during Saturday 17. August.
