We will welcome appr. 20 students (age 16-18) from 10 countries which will send one boy and one girl each.
Camp language will be English, perhaps we‘ll teach you a little bit of German...
Just on the eastern bank of the river "Rhein" you enter the hilly region of the "Bergisches Land".

Near the small village Odenthal our camp headquarters are situated in a youth hostel in the old
monastery of "Altenberg". From here we will start our daily excursions to discover typical items of the region, f.ex.:
 Canoeing on the river "Wupper"
 see the world famous knifes production of "Solingen"
 climbing a high-wire forest adventure course
 visit a huge recycling site for plastics & metal
 visit the old castle "Schloss Burg", the former home of the ruling family of the "Counts of Berg"
 forest excursion to a big retaining lake ... ... and many others ...

We are going to explore the city of Cologne too, with its old roman history and its nowadays culture. From the roof top of the world known cathedral "Kölner Dom" down to the lovely old city centre on the banks of the river "Rhein" and many other places.
The whole summer camp is meant to develop and improve international friendship and networking among young people.
We would be glad to welcome you in our unique summer camp which will let you explore a central region of Germany with most interesting contrasts between a world famous city and the beauty of
the surrounding landscape!

And we'll have a lot of fun !!
