A 10-day Roundtrip in Belgium 2019

R.I. District 1620 invites 20-25 young people from the EEMA Region to a roundtrip in Belgium, in July 2019.
Theme : "Belgium: Heart of Europe"

Participants :

Girls and boys aged 17-20, sponsored by a certified Rotary Club
All participants are expected to be fully acquainted with the rules of the Youth Exchange Program and to be ambassadors of their countries

Duration :

From July 5th to July 14th, 2019

Arrival-Departure :

Brussels Airport (BRU) or Brussels South/Charleroi Airport (CRL) or Brussels South Train Station

Program :

Visits to important Belgian cities and regions
A detailed program will be sent to participants in June

Accommodation :

Participants will be accommodated by Belgian families and in hostels

Special requirements :

- Bring 2 Rotary banners from your sending club
- Ability to swim 100 meters and bike for 25 km

Costs :

Camp fee : 150 euros, payable after acceptance
Participants will pay for their travel costs to Belgium and back, and have pocket money along

Clothes:

Casual, jacket for boys during Rotary meetings

Insurance :

Each participant must be fully insured against accidents, sickness and third party liability according to Rotary International Requirements, and to the existence of an agreement or not between his/her home country and Belgium

Language :

Participants are expected to have a working knowledge of English and French if possible
